The Parental Mental Health Team works with families who have children 5 and under where there is some form of mental distress being experienced by one or both parents. The team is an innovative and unique nurse lead service.
Referrals are made via the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) from services such as: CAMHS, Health Visitors, GPs, Adult Mental Health, Social Care, Education, Children’s Centres and other health care professionals.
