    Mind are a professional mental health charity organisation that offer free services for residents in Lambeth and Southwark. Their vision is that they won’t give up until everyone in Lambeth and Southwark experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.

  • Mosaic Clubhouse

    The Information Hub offers support by signposting to specialist advice and information services, such as:

    The Information Hub offers a drop in service (no appointment necessary) for Lambeth residents.

    Learning Disabilities

    Lambeth Learning Disability Assembly

    The Lambeth Learning Disability Assembly (LLDA) is a place for people with a learning disability and carers to come together to talk about things that are affecting them and what they want to see happen.
    About the Lambeth Learning Disability Assembly (LLDA)

    Lambeth Equalities Commission recommends that people with learning disabilities and their carers should have a say in decisions that affect them and to have an equal chance to make the most of their lives. We are committed to help make that happen.

    The Lambeth Learning Disability Assembly (LLDA) aims to ensure that people with learning disabilities and their carers have a say in decisions that affect them, and an equal chance to make the most of their lives and talents.

    The Assembly meets four times a year and holds Annual General Meetings. They also hold bi-monthly forum meetings in various places across the borough. The forum meetings are there to learn about useful services, local updates and talk about things that matter to the members.

    DASL is a Disabled People’s Organisation which works with Disabled people, including those with mental health support needs, older people and carers, mainly in the London Borough of Lambeth.

    The Young Adults programme at Mosaic is aimed at our members aged between 16 and 30. We have over 90 young adult members working alongside each other towards achieving their potential whilst enjoying the exciting programme of events Mosaic Clubhouse has to offer.

    Based in Tulse Hill (Lambeth) in South London, High Trees Community Development Trust is an established community anchor and hub. Registered charity as a charity in 1998, we have now been delivering projects and services to local people for 19 years.  Adopting a holistic approach to community development, all the work we do is delivered in a collaborative manner; working with other local and national partners to enhance service delivery, avoid duplication of work and ensure we have an effective referral system.

    Free computer training for Lambeth families

    “IT skills are key to communication – using Facebook, sharing pictures, writing messages – it helps me stay in touch with my family back home.” – Wiesia, Streatham parent

    Do you want to improve your computer skills? Or are you willing to share your IT knowledge with other people? Either way, Digital Champions is for you. It’s a free project from the London Connected Learning Centre.

    Learning

    If you’re a beginner, or if computers make you nervous, you can get 1 to 1 or friendly small group teaching.

    Our free course includes using a computer to:
    • Manage bills or claim benefits
    • Set up an email account
    • Search for jobs and other information online

    And how to stay safe online, including avoiding email scams and fraud.

    Your training can lead to certification with the Open Badge Academy – proof of your new skills for job applications.

    Or teaching…?

    If you already know how to use a computer, you can share your skills with other people. Nothing improves your knowledge like helping other people learn – you’ll get training from us in being a teacher.
