    Community Connections is a preventative social prescribing project, aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of vulnerable adults across the borough.

  • The Healthy Living Centre

    We have hosted a range of day trips and events, promoting fun, laughter and enjoyment for the people who attend.

    People who attend promote the centre by word of mouth and other organisations have become more aware of the services that we provide and refer people on to us. Attendance is growing and the facilities are well used.

  • Food2You

    Delivering food, independence and dignity to local older people.

    Food2You is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support the service. Please fill in the form below to find out how you can get involved!

    Food2You is an exciting new shopping delivery service, supporting older people to live more healthy, independent and dignified lives. It is run by Age UK Lewisham and Southwark staff, with a team of enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers at the heart of the project.

    Food2You is aimed at older people in Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth who are experiencing or at risk of malnutrition. It is flexible and fully accessible to older people who need our support in the community. For just £5 a delivery Food2You volunteers will take grocery orders, shop, deliver, unpack, put away and chat with the customer to ensure they’re happy with their delivery.

  • Adult Learning Lewisham (ALL)

    ALL offer a range of courses that can help you gain work related skills including English and Maths, ICT, childcare and ESOL, alongside practical courses in art, crafts and design.   We run a number of English and Maths courses at different levels and all of our English and maths courses are free. You will learn the skills you need to achieve nationally recognised GCSE qualifications in English and maths. Whether you are looking for a new career or you wish to improve your qualifications in childcare we can help.   Our programme includes course that lead to a qualification as well as short courses related to areas of expertise, such as supporting children with special needs.   ALL also runs an extensive family learning programme giving family members a chance to learn something together in a fun and supportive atmosphere.   Family learning can be the first step towards developing your skills and reaching your personal goals. ALL have a large and varied programme for people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments or mental health issues.   Courses can assist with gaining confidence, developing skills, increasing independence and working towards employment.
