Responsible for providing overall leadership and direction to the Association and for delivering its strategy. Accountable for service delivery, and operational and financial performance. Emma has a 30-year career in social housing, having started her career as a policy trainee with a Surrey-based council in 1996. Since then, she has worked predominantly for housing associations, both large and small. She is an experienced Board Member and Trustee. “My aspiration is for our tenants to feel happy and secure in their homes, for them to trust us as their landlord, and for my colleagues to feel supported and proud to work for us.”
Responsible for all financial activity and the organisational lead for IT. Provides accounting, financial management, treasury management, financial compliance, and risk management services. Abby worked in the not-for-profit sector for several years, before moving into Social Housing ten years ago. She has previously worked as a Senior Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, Development Accountant and Head of Finance with various housing associations. “I am pleased to be a part of Lambeth & Southwark HA. I am keen to see us remain a healthy going concern with surplus reserves, which will enable us to keep upgrading our housing stock and provide a better quality of homes for our residents.”
Operational responsibility for delivery of all housing and maintenance services, including tenant engagement and asset management, working closely with tenants, contractors and consultants. Steve previously worked and volunteered in community investment, charities and health promotion, before moving into social housing 25 years ago. Working for both large and small housing associations, primarily in supported housing as well as the Supporting People commissioners at Kent County Council. “I look forward to LSHA working through the challenges we face and doing so, hand in hand with tenants as partners to genuinely achieve better services that we all want to see and deliver.”
Manages day to day accounting and finance and maintains the purchase ledger; preparing payments and preparation of service charges and rent increases. “Having been in various roles including being a Business Performance Manager I know it’s imperative to have good team values. We grow and learn as a team and good team synergy increases our productivity as an organisation. My desire is to continue seeing LSHA grow as an organisation and engage with the local community to improve social housing standards. In an economy where the cost of living keeps rising, our tenants need to be assured they are part of an organisation that cares and listens to their opinions.”
Responsible for leading projects to improve our data quality and processes to benefit the service we provide to our tenants, including dealing with complaints. Operational lead for IT systems, looking at new ways to incorporate IT into how we operate as an organisation. James joined LSHA in 2023 and brings experience working for community engagement projects for amateur and professional sporting teams in Essex. He graduated in 2020 with a degree in Sports Business Management. “I am excited to see where LSHA can go with the change and improvement I have witnessed since joining. I hope we can continue this upward trajectory and provide a service we can be proud about and that is tenant led and focused.”
Responsible for managing and overseeing day to day maintenance and repairs issues, including turning around our empty homes, surveying and post inspecting works. Addison also oversees contractor appointments and management, with a view to driving value for money and improving the quality of all works carried out. She has worked in the public and private property industry for more than 30 years, with experience of both large and small housing associations and local authorities. She has a 1st class housing degree and holds CIH Chartered status. “I am excited joining LSHA during this important time of change and organisational development, and looking forward to improving tenant cohesiveness, involvement and driving up service standards and quality.”
Jerome is the first line of contact for our customer enquiries, whether that is by telephone, email or face to face in the office. Jerome began working in housing as an apprentice customer service officer, progressing to be the team supervisor. He has previously worked as repairs planner, resident liaison officer & complaint officer. Starting with LSHA as a temporary colleague, he is happy to have been brought on full time by LSHA. “My aim is to improve resident relations by lending an understanding ear and friendly face.”
Suzanne brings a wealth of experience from the housing sector. She is passionate about providing a responsive and efficient service to meet the needs of tenants and to improve the experience they have from us as a landlord. Suzanne’s extensive knowledge and experience in the sector has already made an impact on the service our tenants have received.
Responsible for monitoring and updating anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, coordinating estate inspections, dealing with low level arrears cases, and carrying out general tenancy management tasks including tenancy audits. Khai says being a Neighbourhood Coordinator is rewarding because it sits at the heart of delivering safe, well-managed homes and positive tenant experiences. “The role allows me to make a direct difference to people’s lives by ensuring properties are well maintained, issues are resolved efficiently, and residents feel listened to.” Khai is committed to building a positive and productive future within LSHA by delivering high-quality, tenant-focused services. “I aim to work collaboratively with colleagues and residents and contribute to safe, sustainable communities where people feel supported and valued.”
Responsible for all housing management tasks including letting homes, tenancy management, tenancy audits, dealing with ASB and income management. Junior brings over three years of hands-on experience in tenancy and estate management and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and maintaining strong, positive relationships with tenants and colleagues alike. “I am known for being enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly, often bringing a light-hearted sense of humour to my work while always remaining professional. I have a keen eye for detail and am highly organised, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.” Junior is driven by a genuine desire to support and assist those in need. “My determination, combined with my practical experience and people-focused approach, allows me to make a meaningful impact.”
