LSHA’s current tenant engagement statement was agreed by the Board in June 2015. A copy of which can be found on the ‘Publications’ section of the website.
LSHA seeks to offer a range of ways for tenants to engage with LSHA. Only through effective engagement can LSHA access the needs and aspirations of its tenants.
We believe that the benefits of effective tenant involvement influencing service delivery and development are:
On a more practical level:
In summary, we wish to encourage tenants to engage in the activities of LSHA in a way that suits them. The Tenant Engagment Statement looks to provide a framework to make that happen.
Informing residents: tenants are entitled to expect a consistent message when contacting LSHA.
Website: we will use our website to give details of our housing service, performance and key policies and how to be involved as tenants.
Newsletter: we issue our newsletter three times a year with tenant involvement in its content where possible. We also publish an Annual Review which is sent to all tenants.
Chief Executive Surgery: For tenants who wish to discuss matters directly with the Chief Executive we currently hold monthly surgeries on the first Wednesday of every month.
Texting: We operate texting service that enables us to communicate directly and with speed to over 70% of LSHA tenants.
